Berries have a high nutritional content of certain antioxidants that the body will not get anywhere else. This delicious smoothie is rich in nutrients, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and the omega-3 fat, ‘ALA.’
Ingredients
1 cup of frozen unsweetened raspberries;
¾ cup of chilled unsweetened almond or rice milk;
¾ cup of pitted unsweetened cherries;
1½ of tbsp honey;
2tsp of finely grated fresh ginger;
1 tsp of ground flax seed;
2tsp of fresh lemon juice.
Blend and enjoy!
